Makariy Balashov

Hi, I'm Makariy. I lead the Internal Development Platform team at Technokratos — the platform where engineers click the infrastructure they need into existence (Kubernetes, managed databases, load balancers and the rest) and deploy their applications onto it.

Before that I worked on Managed Service for Kubernetes at Yandex Cloud, and ran platform infrastructure for the product teams at Ak Bars Digital.

I write and speak about Kubernetes scheduling, policy engines, and the parts of platform engineering that only show up at 3 a.m.
